This small stadium with no seats on a remote island in Lofoten, might be one of the most awesome places you can go to to watch football. The stadium is used only for amateur football in the small village of Henningsvær in Lofoten. Henningsvær has a population of less than 500, so you if you ever decided to move there, you probably wouldn’t have much problem getting a game on this amazing pitch. Only problem is that you might get distracted by the view. The stadium is surrounded by the sea and the tall Lofoten mountain wall.
Norwegian football profile, Jan Åge Fjørtoft, has invited several international football legends to play on the stadium in Henningsvær later this year. The german ex-players Lothar Matthäus and Klaus Agenthaler are among those who have said they want to come. The event is still in a planning phase, but Fjørtoft is certain the game will take place either this year or next. TromsoLife will keep you updated and provide links to live coverage of the match when it takes place.
